Wine Holders and Wine Racks
While we freely admit that much of what we sell at A Simpler Time has no practical purpose, the popularity of our various wine holders, including wine racks, wine bottle holders, and even our own unique wood propeller wine rack has proven that customers like an utilitarian "excuse" to buy a cool piece of nostalgic decor.
Our handmade, heavy gauge metal and steel single wine bottle holders are sculpted by a "twisted" German artist and come in a variety of themes and professions. Perhaps our most popular is the pilot wine holder, featuring an old-time aviator, complete with goggles and a "wood" propeller in his hand. But we also have wine holders themed for hockey, golf, baseball, and about two dozen professions.
These well-made single bottle holders make a great way to present a gift of wine to newlyweds (yes, we have bride and groom wine holders!), new graduates (from college, not high school), and for promotions. While most customers choose a fine vintage, some prefer the humor of presenting a nice keepsake wine holder...and a bottle of Boone's Farm.

We are continually on the lookout for "different" wine racks, wine holders, and wine displays that aren't available everywhere else. In that vein, we even designed a wine rack around two of our replica WWI mahogany propellers. This large wood propeller wine rack holds up to 15 bottles, has room for wine glasses, and is probably the ultimate in unusual wine racks or wine bottle holders.
